New Home Nation is different. Different for a reason. We are a boutique real estate firm specializing in the purchase and sale of luxury homes in Las Vegas, NV and beyond. Our primary focus is helping buyers locate, negotiate and secure the perfect home, whether brand new construction from the ground-up, a resale or even a custom home. As a part of that process, we also market and sell amazing homes. Regardless of whether you are a buyer, seller or both, we can represent you in what is likely the largest purchase and sale of your lives. Below are some of our core beliefs:
STILL A PEOPLE BUSINESS.
We believe real estate is still, and always will be, a PEOPLE BUSINESS. During the past 30 years, companies have been consistently unsuccessful at trying to "disrupt" and change the real estate business. While technology has certainly helped people look for homes, the internet has not eliminated the reliance on professionals to buy and sell homes. Yes, AI can certainly make things better, but can it replace the rapport and trust that only humans can create? Can it negotiate on your behalf in pursuit of your dream home?
BIGGER IS NOT BETTER. BETTER IS BETTER.
Research tells us that buyers and sellers care most about the experience, education and skills of the agent that will be helping them - more so than the firm they select. In our eyes, bigger is bigger, but bigger is not better. As companies strive for growth they often step right over the important part - building and maintaining amazing relationships with people. Let New Home Nation show you the difference. You will be working directly with our broker.
AVOID BUZZWORDS - FOCUS ON THE BASICS.
Some companies are focused on the buzzword of the moment. For example a recent buzzword is "Data Driven." Data is a great tool, but not when the focus of data trumps the basics in business - such as customer and client satisfaction, quality control, and even employee input and retention. We say, get back to basics. New Home Nation has one main focus - YOU!
We can all learn from each other. Every person has different experiences, education, skills, outlooks etc. Learning from each other can be powerful indeed. Many corporate America types become so focused on their egos, they forget to utilize the vast amount of knowledge right before their eyes. The results will suffer over the long-term. As they say "the proof is in the pudding".
Tyler T. Fleming, MBA
Broker and CEO
Tyler brings a unique blend of decades of experience in real estate and construction. He started in the construction field at 14 years old working in a warehouse for his father's electrical contracting business. This led to working hands-on in the field as an electrician. This included working on many various projects across the country including work at industrial plants, correctional centers, wood plants and even secretive projects at the The Pentagon and Rocky Flats Nuclear Plant in Jefferson County Colorado. This led to office work including estimating, project management, purchasing and eventually accounting and finance. In fact, he was a Chief Financial Officer for a large electrical contractor with $100M in annual revenues.
Mid-way during his career, Tyler started selling homes for several homebuilders. Consistently one of the top salespeople, he always pushed boundaries to try to help the companies he worked for make more money. After all, in that role, his client was the homebuilder. This experience includes work for KB HOME, Richmond American Homes, American West Homes, Toll Brothers and Blue Heron.
Is your real estate agent a Salesperson, Broker-Salesperson or Broker?
In Nevada there are three types of real estate licensees who can legally act in the real estate business. In order to become a Salesperson, one must take education, pass exams and take additional education after they pass their exams. Further, there are required continuing education requirements to maintain their license. To become a broker there are expanded and additional experience, and/or college education credits, and continuing education requirements. Salespersons and Broker-Salespersons work for Brokers. Did your agent make the extra effort to become a broker-salesperson or broker?
